Information Collected

In addition to standard account and payment information, Aura collects:

  • Booking Details: Session topics, time, duration, and chosen mentor.
  • Session Notes: Optional notes exchanged between students and mentors during or after sessions.
  • Transaction Data: Payment identifiers, amounts, and payment status (processed by third-party gateways).

How Data is Used

  • To manage bookings, confirm schedules, and facilitate communication between mentors and learners.
  • To process payments, issue invoices, and calculate Gyanis Coin (GC) rewards.
  • To generate aggregated reports for quality assurance and mentor performance.

Safeguards and Controls

  • Mentor and student contact details (email/phone) are masked by the platform; direct sharing is discouraged.
  • All chat and session data are stored securely and accessible only to participants and authorized Gyanis staff for support or compliance review.
  • Payment information is handled by third-party gateways; Gyanis never stores card details.
  • Mentors are bound by confidentiality and data handling clauses.

School Accounts

In school-managed deployments, Aura is available only where permitted by the school’s consent framework.

Across all Gyanis features:

  • No personal information is sold or shared with advertisers.
  • Student accounts require parental or school consent when applicable.
  • All content generated or uploaded remains under user or school ownership, as defined in Terms of Use.
  • Users may request deletion or correction of data by contactingsupport@gyanis.ai.
  • Data security measures include encryption, access control, and continuous monitoring.
